MET Eikaiwa Classroom
Since 2018, MET has supported children, students, and adults in developing strong English foundations, practical communication skills, and confidence.
At MET英会話教室 in Fuji City, learning goes beyond memorizing words and grammar. Students are encouraged to understand English, use it meaningfully, express their own ideas, and gradually develop the confidence to communicate with others.
Every lesson is carefully adapted to the learner’s age, level, pace, personality, interests, and goals.
MET began with one simple belief: every learner deserves personal guidance, meaningful opportunities to communicate, and a safe environment in which to grow.
What started as a small English tutoring service has developed into MET英会話教室, a face-to-face English learning community in Fuji City serving learners from early childhood through adulthood.
Our classroom brings together structured English instruction, practical communication, creative activities, projects, presentations, storytelling, and English Through Theater Arts.
Rather than asking every student to follow exactly the same path, we adjust lesson content, pace, activities, and support according to the individual learner.
Whether a student is learning first English words, strengthening school English, preparing for future goals, or developing professional communication skills, we guide each learner step by step.
At MET英会話教室, the learner is at the center of the lesson. Students need strong foundations, but they also need opportunities to actually use what they learn. Our lessons therefore combine systematic language development with meaningful communication, creativity, interaction, and self-expression.
Lessons respond to each learner’s age, level, pace, personality, interests, learning needs, and goals.
Students use English through conversation, storytelling, role-play, projects, discussion, presentations, performance, and practical situations.
Learners are encouraged to try, make mistakes, ask questions, revise their ideas, and communicate without being afraid of getting everything perfect immediately.
English learning also develops curiosity, creativity, independence, cooperation, communication, cultural awareness, and confidence.
Learning English requires both accuracy and expression. Students need to understand how English works, but they also need opportunities to turn that knowledge into real communication. MET combines structured language development with activities that encourage students to think, create, speak, interact, and express themselves.
Listening, speaking, pronunciation, phonics, spelling patterns, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and sentence formation are developed progressively.
Conversation, storytelling, role-play, discussion, speeches, presentations, projects, and real-life communication help students turn knowledge into usable English.
Drama games, character work, improvisation, storytelling, script writing, stage movement, presentations, and performances give students meaningful reasons to communicate.
Lesson difficulty, pace, activities, communication goals, and learning support are adjusted according to the individual student.
Teachers observe what students understand, what they can use independently, and what they are ready to learn next so that learning can continue progressively.
Students gradually develop independence, creativity, teamwork, responsibility, self-expression, and the confidence to communicate their ideas.
MET has grown step by step while keeping the same fundamental purpose: providing personal guidance, meaningful communication, and English education that helps learners become confident users of the language.
MET started on August 22, 2018 as an online English tutoring service operated as a sole proprietorship. The original goal was simple: provide English education that could respond more closely to the individual learner.
On September 7, 2021, the service was registered in Fuji City as an Online Language Tutorial Service. MET continued developing its personalized approach while supporting learners with different ages, abilities, and goals.
On March 25, 2023, the physical MET English classroom opened in Fuji City. Face-to-face learning created new opportunities for interaction, projects, collaborative activities, presentations, role-play, and performance-based English learning.
On December 15, 2025, 株式会社 Fledge Japan was established. MET英会話教室 became one of the company’s educational services while continuing the learner-centered philosophy on which MET was originally built.
MET英会話教室 continues to provide personalized face-to-face English education for young children, elementary students, junior and senior high school students, adults, and professionals. Local and international educators work together to help students develop strong English foundations, practical communication ability, creativity, independence, and confidence. On April 1, 2026, MET-EIS Hoikuen also began operation as a separate childcare division under 株式会社 Fledge Japan.
To provide high-quality, engaging, and personalized English education that develops strong language foundations, meaningful communication, creativity, cultural understanding, and confidence.
To become a trusted English-learning community in Fuji City where learners of different ages can develop the knowledge, practical communication ability, confidence, and independence needed for an increasingly connected world.
To help every learner progress steadily from understanding English to actually using it—independently, confidently, and meaningfully.
“Students learn best when they feel comfortable enough to try, make mistakes, ask questions, express their ideas, and discover what they are capable of doing.”
MET began with the belief that English education should be personal, practical, encouraging, and connected to each learner’s real life.
That belief continues to guide MET英会話教室 today.
Our responsibility is not simply to teach vocabulary or grammar. We want students to understand what they learn, develop strong foundations, use English meaningfully, communicate their own ideas, and gradually become confident enough to take English beyond the classroom.
Every learner develops differently. That is why we continue to observe, listen, adjust, encourage, and help each student move forward one step at a time.

Share the learner’s age, English background, interests, concerns, learning experience, and reasons for studying English.
Meet the teacher, experience the MET classroom, participate in a lesson, and help us understand the learner’s current strengths and needs.
We recommend an appropriate class, learning focus, lesson pace, activities, and lesson frequency based on the learner.
Students develop their skills through regular lessons, communication activities, projects, practice, feedback, review, and progressively adjusted goals.
English learning does not have to follow a one-size-fits-all path. At MET英会話教室, we begin with the learner.
